Charity Comic - Vinyl Scratch's Glassesby *muffinshire

Clivo100 is leading a fundraising drive to pay for tests and treatment for a friend, Robyn, who suffers from Irlen Syndrome, a visual-perceptual disorder with some similarities to dyslexia. Irlen Syndrome sufferers experience difficulties in reading text, among other symptoms. Clive is running a fundraiser on Indiegogo with a goal of raising the US$800 needed to cover the costs of evaluations, lab tests and special lenses to help correct Robyn's problem and allow her to complete her studies. They have already raised more than half the funds needed, and since both he and his friend Robyn are bronies, Clive approached me to help raise awareness and make a push for that goal by writing and drawing a pony comic. Here then is my imagined "origin story" for Vinyl Scratch's signature look, in a tale that shows how a little generosity can make a huge difference to someone's life.

Update: Goal achieved! Thanks to some amazing displays of charity, Clive and Robyn have reached their total. There are truly wonderful people in this community, as these outpourings of generosity in the many different fundraising drives going on have shown. Today, I am proud to be a brony, and so should you all be. If you still want to donate though, please do - Clive has made it clear that any surplus will go to the Irlen Institute, helping others with the same condition.

This could also be a solution with derpy, think about it! The only reason she isn't on the show more is because someone (who is an asshole) found her offensive, the only offensive part about her is the fact that she is so clumsy. In real life that could be blamed on her lazy eye, and therefore a vision problem. The solution? GLASSES!!!!!!
