EqD ATG II - Day 29 - Pony Graduate

"Ms. Mayor, you're trying to seduce me..."

My entry for day 29 of Equestria Daily's Artist Training Grounds II. The brief was "draw a pony graduating". Okay, I bent the theme a little here - this is a pony version of The Graduate.

I've been wanting to get Mayor Mare into a piece somewhere, and as soon as the Graduate idea entered my head, I knew she would be perfect for the Mrs. Robinson role. And since "Time Turner" (Doctor Whooves to the fans) has been stuck with her on the official trading cards, he was the natural choice for Benjamin. Getting the poses right for this was a colossal headache - I try to avoid outright bipedal poses, so I had to come up with a way of mimicking the look of the movie poster without slavishly copying it.

Update: One of Equestria Daily's Drawfriend posts (#550 this time) featured this pic. Well, by "featured" I mean "hid it behind a 'Saucy Mayor' caution".
