I've had this image kicking around in my head for a couple of weeks, and with the autumn leaves starting to turn here now, I wanted to try and capture the unique quality of light and colours that I so love about this time of year. The show manages it beautifully in "Fall Weather Friends" (the colour artists should be really proud of that episode in particular), but I deliberately avoided using it as reference as I wanted to dabble on my own rather than being led.
